1934: Transient Killed, Crushed, Mangled by Train

In 1934 a transient named Ben Ingalls, also known as William Kimball, about 38 years old, was dragged several rods by a train and crushed and mangled about the arms and shoulders.

A modern journalist may find the description of the carnage unnecessarily complete.
