1945: Wounded Dundee Girl Slowly Recovering

Elizabeth Mathias was wounded Christmas Day 1944 when a gun was accidentally discharged at her, and she was slowly recovering in January 1945. When the hospital sought blood donors for her, 34 people volunteered.
