1935: Wolff’s Smart Suits

More than 300 smart new suits were available at Wolff’s in 1935, tailored from worsteds, twists, tweeds and flannels.

I’m honestly not sure what a worsted is, though I’ve heard the term. Dictionary.com says: "firmly twisted yarn or thread spun from combed, stapled wool fibers of the same length, for weaving, knitting". And I don’t think I’ve ever heard twists in that context.
