    How jealous I was of John Blair, Kathy Thomas (& Bill Goff) that they were born in the right year to be exchange students to Crailsheim! But hearing their stories when they returned let me live it vicariously. And sailing from Quebec to Genoa–something I could only dream of. Alas, I was too late for transatlantic crossings by sea, but I have had the good fortune to see Germany & Italy, several times each.
