Lindsay Water Conditioning Company was located at 209 Tenth Street in Worthington in 1960, and they put this silly little cartoon ad in the Globe. Pretty good effort, I’d say.
Daylight savings time, then "war time," caused quite the confusing kerfluffle in 1945.
This 1960 advertisement is a bit cryptic to those of us viewing it 60 years out of context. Hi Point! must have been a theater or other venue (hosted by Bill Houser) and Jayne wasn’t given a last name, either.
