1935: Swimming School to Resume

The Red Cross swimming school was scheduled to resume in 1935, teaching people who were afraid of the water how to swim.

    Where and when was this school going to take place? (It seems the reporting in newspapers is not as good as it once was, but is still better than it was in 1935).

    Unfortunately, I’m not really sure where it was or precisely when.

    The thing is, in 1935, you didn’t have 24-7 news like we do now.

    Writers wrote the paper knowing you’d already read last week’s paper, and the week before that, so they didn’t bother repeating things in a “nut graph” like we do now.

    I’m pretty sure the first article on this had the time, date and place in, but I didn’t get a picture of that article, so I don’t know what it is.
