1939: Dr. Slater Honors Mayo

1939: Dr. Slater Pays May TributeDr. S. A. Slater, president of the Minnesota Public Health association, was going to honor Dr. Charles H. Mayo in a memorial address in 1939.

Did S. stand for Sidney? I would assume so. If so, he was one of Worthington’s most prominent citizens, and he did a lot of good for people, from what I’ve heard.
