
1985: Peace Was in the Air

Ray Crippe wrote a great column about Armistice Day 1918 (the first one) in 1985 and the soldiers’ songs from World War I. Some of these songs have been forgotten, but I could sing the chorus of “K-k-k-Katy” any time. (Disclaimer: I didn’t say I could sing it well.)
